Association meetings are held on the second Friday of months January to June and September to December at the Liederkrantz Club, 6 E. 87 St. NYC. Location or date changes will be announced on the website and in our newsletter.

Membership in the Longford Association of  Greater New York Inc.

Any person of Longford birth or decent who has attained their eighteenth birthday or any man or woman who is married to a person of Longford birth or heritage and found to be of good moral character shall be eligible for membership upon favorable report from the investigating committee and approval of the membership of the Association.

Next Association Meeting

The County Longford Association of Greater New York will hold  a meeting  on  this  Friday, September 25th. 2015 at 7.30P.M. The  meeting  will  take  place  at the Liederkrantz Club located at  6 east 87th. Street.This  meeting  will serve for  both  September  and  October,with  the  following  meeting  taken  place  on Friday November 13th.  The  Assoc. always  welcomes  new members.

Keith O' Neill R.I.P
Deepest condolences to Frank and Theresa O Neill (nee  McKenna) on  the  sudden  passing  of  their  beloved  Son  Keith. His  remains  will  be  waked  at David J. Hodder and Sons Funeral  home  on  McLean Ave  on  Friday from 2pm-7pm.Funeral mass  will  be  held  on  Saturday at  10.45am in St. Barnabas Church located  at 409 E. 241st Street. May  he  R.I.P.

County Longford Association annual Dinner Dance.

The County Longford  Association  of Greater New York would  like  to thank  everyone who  supported  our  124th annual dance on Sunday  March 15th. A very  enjoyable  evening  was  held  by all  in attendance. In 2016  we  will  be  celebrating our  125th anniversary so  we  plan  on having a very  special  dance not  to  be  missed.Please  click on  the event photos tab  to  view  the pictures from  Our dance.

St.Patrick's Day Parade NYC
The County Longford Association thanks  all its members, friends and  their  families who  proudly  marched up  5th Ave behind  our  banner.It  was  so  wonderful to  see  such a big  crowd, especially  so many  young  kids who  are  the  future of  this  wonderful  association. Longford GAA  New  York

Longford  Football club  of  NY will  hold  their  Dinner  Dance on Saturday  January 18th  2014  at  Rosie O' Grady's which  is  located  at  the  corner of  52nd  St.  and  7th  Ave. Presentation  of  medals  will  be  made  to  the  Junior  B  team who  won the  Championship on the  night. Tickets  are $100  per person or  $1000  per  table  of  ten. Music  on  the  night  will  be  the  ever  popular  Padraig Allen.  We  have   attached  a  Journal  Contract  in  the  event  that  You  would  like  to  sponsor  an  advertisement .
