Meetings
Association meetings are held on the second Friday of months January to June and September to December at the Liederkrantz Club, 6 E. 87 St. NYC. Location or date changes will be announced on the website and in our newsletter.
Membership in the Longford Association of Greater New York Inc.
Any person of Longford birth or decent who has attained their eighteenth birthday or any man or woman who is married to a person of Longford birth or heritage and found to be of good moral character shall be eligible for membership upon favorable report from the investigating committee and approval of the membership of the Association.

CD Launch
Fiddler Marie Reilly from Moatfarrell, recently released "The Anvil", a CD of traditional music devoted to tunes from South Leitrim and Longford, a region with a distinctive fiddling tradition passed down through eight generations. Marie learned many of the tunes from her late father, Michael Reilly, a great fiddler from Drumreilly, Co. Leitrim and also a Blacksmith hence the CD title. The CD is available by contacting Marie
Ninth Annual Golf Outing
The County Longford Association of Greater NY is pleased to announce that the Ninth Annual Tournament will be held this year on Thursday, June 28th at the Van Cortland Golf Course, Bronx, NY. All proceeds from this year's outing will go to the family of Patrica Lennon Ricker. Chairmen are Desmond McGoldrick and Dermot York
